London travel cards from the Chelmsford area.
So I can't seem to find a cheaper way of getting a couple of London travelcards for Saturday from chelmsford. Myself and the missus. Works out expensive buying a return to Liverpool st and a travelcard from there?

Why don't you just buy a travel card form Chelmsford? That covers Chelmsford to London and underground, no need for two tickets

Why not go to the ticket office and ask?

I am sure I saw a deal from Brentwood saying one person full the second half price if travelling together when I went in on Sunday.

Oh and check the trains are actually running and there are not engineering works with a bus replacement service.

Just an idea but have you tried your regional train website?

Theres a 'Two Together Railcard' that gives 1/3 off rail fares in your region if it's participating?
Gives two named adults cheaper fares for a year.

I have a Network card that's £30 for the year so instead of paying £19.60 for a travel card on the High Speed it's only £13.

My research shows that it will cost £30.40 for 2 people who do not have any railcards.

Who got stuck on the Liverpool St line on Friday afternoon? I missed it as I had a day off, but it took some people five hours to get home.
